UCSF Health APP Stipend Program
The UCSF Health APP Conference/Publication Stipend Program provides the opportunity for APPs at UCSF (West Bay and East Bay) to apply for funding to support an in-person or virtual conference attendance as a presenter (includes poster) or panelist within their specialty or field of practice. APPs are eligible to apply for and receive one stipend award each fiscal year.
Eligible APPs (NP, PA, CNM, CRNA) may submit an application to be reviewed by APP Stipend Committee. If selected, the APP will be reimbursed up to $1000.00 by UCSF Health for conference-associated costs such as registration fees, travel, lodging, food, poster creation, publication fees, or other items reviewed case-by-case. Standard daily max for per university policy will apply for food and lodging. Receipts must be submitted no later than 45 days from the last day of conference attendance.
How to apply
Submit the completed APP Conference Stipend Application, current CV, proof of acceptance and personal essay in one email to [email protected]. Use the subject header: APP Stipend.
Deadline for submission
1st Friday of the following months: January, April, July and October. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
Notification of decision
The stipend committee will email their decision by the 3rd Monday of the following months: February, May, August and November.
If you are a recipient, the email communication will contain instructions on how to submit receipts within 25 days of the end of the conference.
