What is an Advanced Practice Provider?
Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are licensed healthcare providers who diagnose and treat patients, prescribe medications, and perform or assist in surgical procedures. APPs provide patient care independently and as part of teams that include physicians and other health care professionals.
